• Automatically collected data — basic technical information such as browser type and general, aggregated usage patterns that help us keep the Extension working correctly.
• Attribution data — when you install the Extension from a landing page, we may record limited referral or campaign information (for example, which page or source led to the install) to understand how users discover Rudder VPN.

To deliver its core function, the Extension uses certain browser capabilities — proxy configuration, web request handling, cookies, local storage, search integration, and a privacy setting that adjusts WebRTC leak protection while the VPN is active. These capabilities operate locally in your browser to route and protect your traffic; they are not used to build a profile of you.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Extension and Website.
• To route your browser traffic through our secure servers while the VPN is active.

Rudder VPN is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
